Surround Yourself with Socially Aware People

Over 600 attendees are expected at the 15th Social Enterprise Awards for NI! Each coming from the private, public and social enterprise sectors, this is a true celebration of a group of people who put themselves second to the needs of others. Interim CEO Amanda Johnston says, “This is the one night of the year when social enterprise takes centre stage. This is the one night where the true combined impact and positive energy of the social economy can be seen, all sitting together in one room.”

Social enterprises in Northern Ireland are experiencing unprecedented growth, contributing millions to the local economy while tackling society’s biggest challenges. From creating jobs for people with disabilities to providing affordable housing, from tackling food poverty to revolutionising healthcare delivery, these aren’t just businesses; they’re catalysts for change.

Influence

The awards night is both formal and informal. The formality comes from the recognition of the seriously impressive social purposes that guides every social enterprise and transforms communities. The informality comes from the ease with which you can converse with and build relationships with some of the busiest people in the country.
