Antrim School of Music CIC
We are delighted to have Antrim School of Music CIC as our Social Enterprise of the Month!
Antrim School of Music CIC started as a small initiative to provide high-quality, accessible music education to their local community. Over the years, They’ve expanded significantly, both in terms of the number of students and the breadth of their offerings.
Initially, they focused on individual instrument tuition, but have since added group workshops, ensemble classes, and even community outreach programs.
What’s been truly rewarding is the increasing diversity of their students. They have welcomed learners of all ages and backgrounds, which underscores their mission to make music education accessible to everyone.
Antrim School of Music’s primary objective has always been to inspire and empower people through the arts, and in 2025, they are doubling down on that mission. One key goal is to expand creative arts programs beyond music.
They want to introduce new disciplines, such as drama, dance, and visual arts, creating a vibrant hub for all creative arts under one roof.
Another priority is community engagement. There are plans to launch more outreach programs in schools and underserved areas to ensure that everyone has a chance to experience the transformative power of the arts. Inclusivity is a core value for Antrim School of Music, and they aim to remove as many barriers as possible—be it financial, geographical, or otherwise.
Over 2024 we had the pleasure of joining SENI and we have received phenomenal support. We had the pleasure of being part of the Discovery Programme and it was massively informative and we learnt so much which we have actively implemented into our day to day business. It was a fantastic opportunity to network and get valuable support and guidance as we expand and grow. – Rebecca, Director.
The ultimate vision is to make the Antrim School of Music CIC synonymous with creativity, inclusivity, and excellence in the arts. 2025 will be a pivotal year for Antrim School of Music as they take bold steps to bring that vision to life.
