Rural isolation is a very real issue for thousands of people across Northern Ireland. Joe Garvey started social enterprise Macha’s Orchard in order to earn a steady stream of money to invest in Richmount Community Association, a charity that brings older people and newcomers for a hot lunch, some bingo, a quiz and some dancing.
