Invitation to attend a Social Enterprise NI policy session to discuss the current Department for the Economy Consultation on the definition of social enterprise.
As you will be aware the Department for the Economy have issued a Consultation on the Definition of Social Enterprises in Northern Ireland with a closing date for responses of 23rd December 2025 at 12pm.

The Department are running 2 further information sessions, one online and one in person in Dungannon as follows;

- 24 November 2025: Dungannon(external link opens in a new window / tab)

We encourage everyone to attend one of these sessions to hear about the Consultation directly from the Department and submit your own response.
SENI haven’t been involved so far in the process and are keen to hear your thoughts which will help us develop our own response as the representative body.
