About Fermanagh Fun Farm
Fermanagh Fun Farm – A Unique Social Enterprise
Fermanagh Fun Farm is a social enterprise dedicated to rescuing and adopting animals while educating the public on animal welfare. This year, they expanded their mission to support adults with disabilities, offering projects that reduce isolation, provide qualifications, and encourage social interaction.
To sustain their work, they generate income through visitor admissions, a café, a gift shop, and animal sponsorships. Businesses can also support the farm by sponsoring animals or advertising on-site, gaining exposure to 15,000+ visitors annually while demonstrating social value.
The farm is home to a wide variety of animals, from traditional farm animals to alpacas, meerkats, chipmunks, and a rescued reindeer named Boise Deer.
They welcome volunteers, corporate partners, and committee members, especially those with expertise in marketing, finance, and HR, to help grow their impact.

Innovative Approach
What sets Fermanagh Fun Farm apart is their unique approach to being the only farm attraction across Northern Ireland not based on making a profit and bringing projects to the community and vital social opportunities for our local community. We provide a real hands-on experience for our visitors through opportunities such as feeding animals, petting small animals and pony walking and grooming. We also offer adults with a disability the opportunity to gain life skills while working towards a qualification such as animal care, gardening and hospitality. Â
By leveraging specific tactics like technology, community partnerships, innovative funding models, the organisation has been able to make a measurable impact.
For example, we have been able to expand out services to the local community such as offering birthday party packages, walking tours with adult groups, social farming for adults with a disability etc.
